Where do I start?
I managed to get in the building at WestFM as I was studying Broadcast Production at UWS in Ayr… I just called them up asking if there was any jobs I could do. You don’t ask, you don’t get, right? After doing lots of travel bulletins and cover, I began hosting Sunday afternoons.
From there, I moved to Radio Borders in the Scottish Borders for a short period of cover, then onto Clyde1 in Glasgow where I went on to host Saturday breakfast across the majority of Bauer Media’s Scottish radio stations including Clyde1, Forth1, NorthSound1, MFR and many more. I also regularly featured on air for Absolute Radio where I often covered drivetime and weekends for Absolute Radio Country.
In 2023, I jumped ship and joined the mighty Capital FM and here we are!
I’m also one half of the Aff The Cuff podcast – which I co-host with my good friend James Barrett.
The podcast has been going for a number of years now with a few guests along the way, but we’re currently taking a break from recording new episodes.
